Not Just for Laundry

So I have learned two very interesting things lately that I have to share, just in case you dont already know, but I bet you do. OxyClean and dryer sheets are not just for laundry, for years I have been missing out, but they are great for other things too... like dusting and cleaning tile grout. A little bit of OxyClean, an old toothbrush, and a LOT of time result in sparkling tile grout... which is important. When we moved in our kitchen floor had light grout (I remember trying to pick something darker so this has always been a source of contention between me and the builder, although he doesnt know), but after a few years it was not so light, in fact it was almost the color the tile. I tried everything from bleach to vinegar to fix it but with no luck, until one day when I was doing laundry and happened to read the OxyClean box (I must have been spaced out and tired). If you make a paste of OxyClean and water and scrub the grout you end up with the grout you started with... yeah it is hard work, but it was worth me not losing it because of my irritation with how dingy things were looking.

Ok dryer sheets, great dust cloths, since that is what they do in the dryer it isnt a shock, but still- want clean baseboards or blinds that smell laundry fresh, I'm telling you, a little Bounce goes a long way.

I will try this when I get home from my mission. I have tile on my kitchen floor.
