Height: 33 1/2 inches (97th percentile)
Head: 19 inches (75th percentile)
Michael continues to be a ... giant. I cant think of another way to put it. He is so tall... this has been a bit problematic with tables, doors, and the stove.
-Sometimes I look at Michael and think there is very little of my side in you... and then I think again. His latest favorite foods are hard boiled eggs, humus, rice and beans, and V8. I feel like he is channeling a bit of my dad and brothers every time he wants to eat- that part of him is pure my side. No ketchup for him yet, and any time a dip is presented he is less than impressed and refuses to eat the dipped item. He has started to want hot dogs though he has had them only once or twice so I dont know where this is coming from. He tried an ice cream cone recently. He loves to eat the ice cream part with a spoon, but will pick up the cone (once it is mostly empty) and eat it.
-sleeping is still kind of a disaster during the day. We cut his "naps" from 2 to 1 and now there is some actual napping taking place after the screaming subsides.
-he loves rubber ducks and owls, and spends a good part of his day carting one or both of these animals around in his "go go" or cozy coupe car.
-he still loves baths and I am convinced if he were presented with the option of a bath at breakfast, lunch, and dinner he would take it.
-recently he has developed an interest in the potty. I am trying to keep this somewhat a minimum because I think he will learn to flush things down the toliet long before he uses it. But he now insists on trying it out before his bath each night.
-he is a still a reader, short books, long books, mommy's cookbooks, books are our friends at this house. His favorite at the moment is one called "Owl Babies" that we checked out from the library. I may have to buy it because reading about Sarah, Percy, and Bill has become a nighttime ritual.

-he can make noises for the following animals: cougars (as of today), frogs, snakes, owls, ducks, cows, cats, dogs, and monkeys. They are all adorable, but I will say the owl and the cat are my favorite.
-he has recently decided that playing dress up is super fun. He dresses up as an owl, but I have gotten him a few hats to go along with this new found interest. For christmas I think he is going to get a few more costumes (already started sewing!).

-he loves to color and screams "color color!" anytime he sees paper or a pen. His scribbles are getting better and sometimes he points to one and tells me what it is, mostly they are pumpkins.
-he loves pumpkins and the store has become quite the adventure with him pointing them out every time we pass one.
-his go go or cozy coupe car is still a favorite toy and now he can propel himself backwards! yay for learning independence. His sandbox is also still a favorite toy and we spend a good part of the afternoon outside with both.

| the word you are looking for is crazy! |
-he has a little friend named cooper that he likes to be crazy with, though I think their favorite thing to do together is trade crackers and books in the car.
-he runs...everywhere... all the time.
-he knows I am a pushover and will call my name at night when he needs something (you know around 230, not an every night occurrence though). Somehow "MOMMY!" gets a better response than "WHAAAAAAAAAAA!"
-he has started asking for food (hungy mommy!), drinks, and help. This has been delightful, except at bedtime when he doesnt actually want those things but wants to stall.
-Michael was introduced to "Super Why" and though I am not a fan of TV and kids... I will make an excpetion for a bit of Super Why every once in awhile. He loves the ABC song and yes I will admit it, he rarely blinks when it is on. We limit our Super Why time. He can ask for Super Why by name "Why Why!, and gets to excited when we watch it.
Sweet Mikey!
