What should Ashley do next?

Hello readers,
I thought I would come on here and ask you what I should do next as far as school goes. As of right now I have two plans for what I can do (school wise) after I graduate (cross your fingers) in December. I can either pursue (well really apply) to a DrPH/PhD program or I can go (apply) and get a BSN (nursing degree). Either way there are good schools in the Dallas area. I am not entirely sure if more school is something that I want to do but just for kicks and giggles what are your votes? I think it would be fun to ultimately teach part time at a university, either way come december I will theoretically be qualified to be an undergraduate instructor some places, so what are your thoughts?
Really I want to know.
A

Ashley,

I think that Jared's idea is always an option, but the nursing thing sounds great! To be honest with you since you have fulfilled one of my dreams already...graduate school in my major of choice...my other option was always nursing. So really either way you go I agree with you! Good Luck.

I think it depends on how your plans differ with your two options. And I have to say, I agree with Jared!!

Given that you hate germs and touching people, I can hardly believe you're even considering a nursing degree! But if it's what you really want...
Have you thought about putting your two degrees to use and working in public health? I think if you are serious about getting a PhD and teaching at the university level, then you should get some solid work experience in so that you can teach from experience. I always liked professors who taught from "real-life experience."
Whatever you do, good luck! And I'm sure you'll succeed. : )
So has Brian already moved to Dallas?
