My cake

I have a sad story to tell, since several of you actually lived through the experience I wont feel offended if you stop reading and do something more productive with your life (not that this isnt productive). The other night (2 weeks ago) Brian and I went to dinner at Brian's dads house. I made a cake to celebrate Grandpa Suker's 83rd birthday (per Grandma Suker's instructions)... everything seemed normal, there was a little bit of snow on the ground but nothing too major. Anyway we pulled into the driveway (which is annoyingly steep), I got out of the car and started to walk to the door, well you guessed it, on my way to the door I slipped on the ice and fell. Now that isnt actually that funny, but I was carrying a cake and if i wasnt the one to fall it would have been slapstick comedy funny. once i realized what had happened I looked down and there was a smashed cake next to me... sad, but it did remind me of the Christmas Story movie (one of my least favorite movies of all time). Anyway I found a picture of the pre accident cake and thought since we couldnt eat it we might as well look at a picture (yeah). So happy late birthday Grandpa Suker, sorry for the glass filled cake!
