Michael took his first "unassisted" steps today. In fairness I dont think these can be counted as actual first steps, but they were something. My grandparents came to visit us at my parents house and my nice grandpa kept trying to get Michael to like him- he loves babies and looks like santa so it seemed like a natural fit- wrong. Michael did not want to go to him, and an effort to get away he took two or three steps towards me. Sadly, those steps were not recorded, but we decided to try and replicate the moment a minute or two later, and sure enough he was capable of one or two panicked steps... so I think that walking is in our not too distant future.

He is getting so big!! I think we will be in TX sometime in Nov!! I hope we will get to see ya!!
My favorite part is the mommy laughing as her child is scared and sad. :)
I'm super happy for you - I think walking is a much better stage than crawling.
