Remember the sweet crafternoons I've been posting about well here is a product or two from a few of them.
Emily made these sweet christmas banners, please ignore my subpar (at best) photography and draping on the fence skills, trust me in real life they are darling.
So banner #1, Joy with snowflakes and scallops, seriously so cute. How did she do it?
First she cut out the letters (by hand, although using the Silhoutte would have been about a 100 times faster). Then she adhered the letters to the heat bond according to the package directions (dont worry they are great). Then she found two random snowflakes I had cut out of felt and sewed them together. Then she cute the scalloped flower things and their backing out using the Silhoutte and sewed them together. Then she stuck the heat bond letters to the scalloped pieces and the snowflakes again according to the package directions. Then (whew this is long) she sewed all three lovely pieces to a piece of ric rack (because rick rac is darling).
And for the next banner. We bought some lovely felt trees from Hobby Lobby (40% off) (12pk for less than $2), and she glued (with hot glue) them to a piece of ric rack (yeah that easy).
Adorable
Look at those cute trees, love them.see that cute snowflake, what a cute cute thing (yeah having a "dad moment")
scalloped edges, so much easier when you dont cut them by hand.
