While in Monterey my mom and I took Mikey to the aquarium- he LOVED it. Mikey has a Baby Einstein aquarium in his room so I thought he might be interested for a bit, but I was surprised he was mesmerized by the fish for so long- we were there 2+ hours and he was happy, pleasant, and interested the whole time. After watching several feeding shows and walking around for a couple of hours we finally left, and when we did Mikey was still loving the aquarium, except for the fact that he was struggling to keep his eyes open. What a fun day, thanks Grammy!
We went back the second day to catch the otter feeding really quick- I was shocked at how big otters are (don't be fooled, they are NOT the size of a cat).
The seahorse exhibit was one of my favorites, I had no idea there were so many different kinds of seahorses.
Yay for the aquarium.
