Today was a big day at our house... drumroll please... Michael rolled over! That's right, we have now met all of the 4 month milestones (one day late). I was worried he wouldnt roll over, because well he hated tummy time, but the past few days he has hated it a little bit less, and shown some interest in rolling over. Yesterday while we were at the doctor Michael was extremely interested in the mirror they had across from the table. He liked to smile and coo at himself (well he is a cute guy after all), so I thought that putting a mirror near him for tummy time might help make things more pleasant... it did! He still likes to try and shove his hand in his mouth, which detracts from the rolling over, but now at least he knows how to roll over.
The video has not been edited and is a little bit... long... and boring... until the end. I recommend skipping to the last 30 or so seconds where he actually rolls over or else you get to listen to Bri and me "discuss" where Michael's arms should be placed to roll over..
We have gotten a few comments about his mohawk/faux hawk, we have tried other hairstyles (yes on the 4 month old), but they dont work. These photos show what happens to Michael's hair when you try the missionary hairdo, the problem is that it grows straight up on one side, thank goodness for him the mohawk is in style at the moment.
