Getting my act together

So for the last few days/months I have been really concerned about getting a job in January, yes I know it is a while away and there isn’t really any sense in stressing now, but I was and I was really concerned. I couldn’t find a job I was qualified for anywhere, all of the “community health” jobs required and RN, I was getting really discouraged that I wouldn’t actually be able to get a job and that my masters was useless. Well it seems I was looking in the wrong place, I still haven’t found a ton of jobs I am qualified for but I have found some, and I guess in the end all I need is one.

On a completely unrelated note brian and I have started looking for houses. We found one we both like that is pretty affordable. If you would like to check out the house and give us your input you can see it here

We like the Cyprus II the best, but we would take the Tripoli (or any house). Take a look and let us know what you think!

Gosh, homes in Dallas are so affordable! You should totally live in the Lake Lewisville area! That's where my in-laws are (in Highland Village), and they take their boat on the lake all the time. It's very pretty there.

As for the job search--yikes! I'm sure you'll figure something out. As for me, I'm obviously staying at home with the Kenners for now, so maybe my detachment from the PH community is what is making me somewhat disillusioned with PH lately. I think that the main contributing factor to my disillusionment or whatever you want to call it is that I fear that our government is getting too big, powerful, and out of control, and I think that PH is part of that giant money-sucking machine we currently call government. Don't know if that makes sense or not, but I feel like public health might have been the wrong career choice for me! Good thing I'm not working anyways! ; )

I vote for the Cyprus II. The master bedroom is close to the living area and the dining room would make a good office space. The Tripoli has the garage way too far from the kitchen with a traffic pattern through the family room. This is a good beginning, good luck.
