I have to admit that I didnt think Michael would ever start walking, call me a pessimist, but he didnt really seem interested in it... until suddenly he did. We suspected that he might have been practicing on his own time because occasionally we would see him take a step or two but he would sit down as soon as he saw us. And then last Wednesday night while my friend was watching him he toddled across her living room. The secret was out, we knew he could do it. Over the weekend he gained more confidence and today I think I can safely say that we have a toddler on our hands! I think our lives got just a bit more crazy!
In addition to walking, Michael is a climber, not always a safe or a smart choice, but he is super speedy and super proud of his new found abilities.

| he can climb up into the chairs in the backyard, he thinks this is great. |

We got Mikey some new "church" clothes this past weekend, and I cannot get over how adorable he looks in them. Gone is the chubby baby, now we have a little boy on our hands. I tried to get a good picture of him, but as mentioned before he is just too busy for photos these days.

He runs while pushing the car, not walks, runs. He also does this funny thing where he backs up with one hand on the wheel, and one hand on the back of his seat (like they tell you in drivers ed). no video yet but i am hoping he lets me get a quick one before he learns to go forward.

| he is so fast the picture is blurry. |
The kitchen stool is still a favorite toy around here. Now he uses is as a cart too.
Look how grown up he is getting!
 |
| he can walk... look at him standing alone. |
 |
| the best part about the car is the door, dont know why kids love it but they do. |

Oh, my! He's adorable!!! I love the walking stage...it's SO much better than crawling! I can't wait for Ben to learn the same thing!!! He is running behind his car right, now so we have a few more weeks to wait out this crawl/walk thing...Yeah for babies growing up! He does look so much bigger. Amazing how time really does pass by...quickly...too quickly.
He's adorable! I love the walking phase! It's way better! Benny is on his way as well.
It's amazing to me how much bigger they look as soon as they walk. Congrats on the new stage!
