A friend invited Michael and me to the arboretum and today we were finally able to make it (thanks Lindsey!), I am so disappointed that we have lived in Dallas this long and this was our first trip! The arboretum was gorgeous, really beautiful, and the weather was perfect. The company was great too, so fun to start venturing out of the house and making friends!
We stopped at these darling houses modeled after the homes of famous artists or their artwork. We had to take a photo at the Monet house, the bridge and the waterlilies reminded me of my art history days.
My photography skills were limited today! The memory card was full, the battery wasnt charged, and i took the little camera, I didnt know it would be so beautiful! Next time I will have to plan better. There were pumpkins everywhere, I think the pumpkin festival might have started or it is being set up, whatever it was it was lovely!Mikey was thrilled to take a photo in front of the Monet house, such a cute little outdoor house.
He was thrilled when I finally freed him. He thought the pumpkins were balls. So cute!
He is pretty adventurous and wanted to try and get to the top of the pumpkin tower, luckily i didnt let him.
Poppy needs to come visit and see all the orange pumpkins, I can see them really liking to take photos here.
The Chihuly (hopfully spelled right) exhibit was still going on, these boats are gorgeous in person, sadly the photo doesnt really show how elaborate and beautiful the sculptures are.
Yay for going to the arboretum!

You are beautiful. I love your blog.
