Immediately after returning from the hospital Mikey met CJ. She was terrified at first but ventured a tint bit closer for a look at what was making all the funny sounds. So far she is still scared of him and prefers to watch him from 5-10 feet away, I think it is safe to say she wont be bothering him anytime soon. She doesnt like it when he cries, gets his diaper changed, eats or twitches in his sleep... that is everything he does at the moment. Between her fear of him and her dislike of being touched I think it will be quite a safe while before they interact, and then dont worry their interaction is going to be limited to him pulling her fluffy tail and her hiding.

Well, you are right! I am DYING!!! Not to mention I was sitting by my mom and she said you be careful because there is a wives tale out there that cats suck babies breath away. They also are known for climbing in their cribs. And last but not least that cats spread strep back and forth to kids. So good luck with the feline and the baby!! :) I love the little dude. Not quite sure about the kitty cat! :)
I was eager to know about CJ's reaction. Like a child, she needs to learn to share her mommy's attention. When Aunt Janet was born and we brought her home from the hospital, my mother's giant hunting dog sniffed at her and went "on point".
