I got an internship!!!!! We are moving to... New York City for the summer!!!!!!!!!!! I will be working for the Children's Defense Fund-NY. I am so excited, and so relieved to have an internship- look forward to lots of posts about moving, the east, and why public transportation really isnt my thing.

Yay! Congrats! I know you were having a hard time with the whole internship thing, so this is great news (except that now I won't have any cover letters to edit!). I hope you like NYC. I look forward to hearing about what you'll be doing there.

Congrats, congrats, congrats! This is an absolutely perfect time to explore NYC! Hopefully they won't work you too hard so you can see all there is to see and enjoy the summer together. I've always wondered what it would have been like to live in NYC (or any city) pre-kid. You'll have to tell me all about it!
