Family Dinner...

I am a big believer in close knit families. Let me explain a little bit. I would like to think my immediate family is fairly “close”. It is probably true that they know a bit too much about what is happening in my life and I know a bit too much what is happening in their lives, but honestly I see nothing wrong with that. Brian has informed me on multiple occasions that my sister and I do not share a normal sibling relationship. I am a little bit unsure what he is talking about, but I would like to think that I consider Emily one of my closest friends and someone I go to for advice (I have been known to email her photos of new clothes or shoes I buy just to hear her input), I guess I should tell you that she is 7 years younger (a number that probably wont even matter in a decade or two). So continuing, I know LOTS about my own family and my own siblings but even after 2+ (not quite 2 ½ that’s why I add the plus), I still don’t know much about Brian’s immediate family, and even less about his extended family. I think that this is 100% due to me being a bit introverted (a bit might not be accurate), I have a hard time stepping out of my comfort zone to get to know new people (I apologize to all of you) anyway with that being said, last week we had the opportunity to have dinner with all of Brian’s siblings (a majority of you readers were there so I wont provide too many details) and several of his cousins. Thank you Grandma Denny for organizing this event, it was fun to meet everyone and get to know them a little bit better. I didn’t have any pictures from the event so I apologize if you are not in it, this was the only one I was able to “steal” off of Diana’s blog (not all of the pictures were as cooperative as this one).

By the way I liked the 1970's finish on the picture, you dont have to like it but I did for this one, not sure why I think it's just because i havent used it before

I so glad that I sat next to you and definitely enjoyed your company! I feel like I am getting to know you more and more through your blog. I wish I lived closer so that I could see you and Brian more, but at least this way we can both learn more about eachother. I know the Suker kids don't seem as close as your siblings, but I hope you know how much we care for one another and one another's spouses!!
