These are my 2 best friends from high school, the three of us are meeting up next weekend, the one on the left is the bride... (just so you know what we looked like)

Brian and I are going, so I needed something a little bit different than “church” clothes or jeans for that event. Let me just tell you I searched and searched for a dress to wear to this event… in my search I found out several things: first, the general public must really like to be naked because the clothes they are selling don’t cover much, second, sizes are a lie, how can you wear a small in one dress and in the same dress in a different color you wear a large, yeah that doesn’t make sense, third, shopping is an “endurance” sport like running, it isn’t meant to be fun, and fourth, I am so not fashionable, I couldn’t find anything that I liked… the sales girls looked at me like I was a total moron. Anyway I am guessing you can see where this is going, I did eventually find something to wear… these pictures are more for Ebug than anyone else, but I was pretty excited to finally find a dress with sleeves (even though I bought a jacket), that was long enough (trust me this is a long one), that cost less than $100 and didn’t look like something a 65 year old would wear. You may not like it, but only say good things until after next Saturday… I am not sure I can handle starting over at this point.
my very thrilling outfit
I was in the middle of giving Brian and a "mad face" for making fun of me and trying to hop onto the island... so yeah sorry the picture is... well ugly
An Actual Mad Face
Today I am mourning the loss of a “good friend”. Before you get too worried let me explain. My digital camera met its watery death yesterday. It died in a river… no more comments about that…. I did get a new camera to replace it but I am still sad about the other one.
Me mourning my other camera...
Finally, this is what I have been working on lately….
My 2 exciting bags, I got the pattern for the big one from enrichment night, they are really easy to make

I've been totally slacking when it comes to blogging. So, needless to say I've missed a few of your posts. But let me just say, your pie looks amazing, your purses are way cute (and quite impressive) and your black dress was worth the shopping. I wish I would have read your blog sooner because I totally would have read your paper. Oh, and I love your new back ground for your blog. So cute.
