At the risk of sounding cliche and because let's face it I am behind the times, I needed to post about a few things that I am thankful for (because as this is our online journal in 15 years it might be fun to look back and chuckle).
This year I am thankful for so many things (dont I say that every year?) but to be honest we are blessed, and I wouldnt be thankful if I didnt mention a few of our blessings.
This year I am thankful for a sweet son who exerts his independence on a minute by minute basis, a husband that works hard, money in the bank, family even though they are far away, and good friends some of which live close enough to bother daily. I am thankful for our knowledge of the Gospel, thankful that we have the opportunity to go to church each week (despite what I may think as I am wrestling with Michael while we are there), I am thankful for the Plan of Salvation, for living prophets, and for the scriptures. I am thankful for my sweet blue minivan, for peppermint chapstick, for 6:30 bedtime for my munchkin, for country music, and yes on occassion Taco Delite. I am thankful for the beautiful weather we have been having, for our ability to communicate so frequently with friends and family who live far away, and for the upcoming christmas season. To say we have been blessed in 2012 is the understatement of the year.
