oday marked the beginning of our adventures in gardening. For the last month or so we have spent a lot of time strolling the garden aisles at Home Depot and Walmart. We started some seed plants in our house (which I may have accidently killed yesterday), but nothing too serious. Today we decided to put in a raised garden bed. It looks pretty fun! We learned a few things from this adventure- 1. starting a garden is expensive, 2. 4x4 is actually pretty little and one bed will likley turn into 2 in the next week or so. Wish us luck on our future adventures, we have... no experience with gardening so this is going to be interesting.

I am loving it!!! Kurtis wants to see pictures of Brian covered in manure!! Kurtis is applying for interships in Oklahoma at IBM and Conoco so I hope he gets one of those!!! But he has an interview with Sandia in New Mexico next week... so we will have to see!! We miss you guys like crazy and can't wait to see you in April!!
I love it! Really, your back yard looks huge. I just had to laugh at such a cute small little square. Either way you will love your little garden.
I guess whether you stay with the 4x4 or add another squeare will depend on what and how much you plant, but remember: BEWARE ZUCCHINI!!
