Yay for Fall!

Today is the first fall day we have had in Texas. The air is crispy, there are a few clouds, a light breeze, and yes you need a light jacket. I love fall, the colored leaves, the crisp air, the yummy foods, sweaters, naps under warm quilts, and the start of the holiday season. I wish I could say that fall was here to stay in our part of the world, but after a quick glance at this week's forecast I think today is an exception. We are still waiting for the days to stay cool, the rain to come, and the leaves to start changing. In honor of the wonderful fall weather, Mikey and I baked some pumpkin bread. Well in reality I baked the bread and Mikey cried because I was cooking and not holding him, but in a few years he can help, and until then our house smells delicious... just like fall.
