So this past weekend was General Conference… I am sure that most of you already knew that since you probably watched it. Growing up Conference was a big deal at our house (as I am sure it was in many of your families), I should let you know that as kids we weren’t that into Conference (you have been there and done that), but it usually meant that my mom bought some special candy (for Conference BINGO), my parents prepared some pretty amazing feasts, my grandparents came up for the weekend, and we got to watch tons of movies (supplied my grandma), all in all it was a pretty festive occasion. Since coming to college Conference has “calmed” down a bit, which for me how been… different. Anyway this year we joined Jared and Diana for the Saturday afternoon session and it was wonderful… definitely a trip back home to the loud family filled weekend…. So thanks guys. Don’t get me wrong, staying home all day in jammies is wonderful, but some things are better with family. We had a great time with them… and of course their cute kids… we really do have the cutest niece and nephew… so it was fun to spend time with them. We had a wonderful time sitting next to Alayna during the afternoon session and she did AMAZING for a 3 year old, I think I was more wiggly than she was (sad since I am almost 20 years older than she is).
While we were there Alayna and I took a few pictures with my computer…. She is much more interested in making movies of herself, so here is my favorite one… enjoy.
